I do not blog often....Main reason is because since the BlackBerry I have been active on social networks like Twitter & Facebook. (Follow me @rainhu) I tweet about my whereabouts, my love for tv-series & movies, or just funny stuff. I love to watch The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, The Walking Dead & lots of other series. I love to watch horror movies. Even they're pretty predictable I still can find something that's different from the ones I've watched before. I will come back to blog again.... thanks for reading! xoxo

I went with my bf to London @ 21 august! We only went there for a saterday, but is was a blast! First time stopped by Top Shop & Primark, but it was so busy (saterday afternoon) & I had headache (bc I couldn't sleep the night before), so I was totally exhausted and certainly not in the mood to blend in the crowd....... But did shop at some nice shops like La Senza (lingerie), Pull & Bear, Dorothy Perkins. I still have some pounds left, so I hope to visit this wonderful town London soon! But next stop is Paris -Antwerpen in octobre!

I am so ashamed I abandoned my blog for so long. I haven't been snapping outfit pics lately. I am so disappointed with my winter weardrobe. Yesterday I was trying some clothes. Its seems every outfit I wore, I was lookin really f** in it! I probably will wait until spring to post my outfits. Here one outfit I wore to a graduation party. Love the heels!

My blackberry (my bb) gave up on me. So I am stuck with a Samsung ladyphone. After having a BB you don't want to have other brands anymore. Currently hoping to save some money (or get it as a gift?) for a new BlackBerry curve 8900 (or 8520)

I am BACK!

After flying for like 11 hours and having a journey with the train for 3 hours I am finally back in my little appartment in Amsterdam. I enjoyed it so much! I shoot in 14 days 1500 pictures! (sorry still have to upload them, that will take a while) I saw my dearest grandparents, my uncles & aunties, my lovely little niece & other relatives in Huangzhou and saw the place I always wanna go:Hong Kong. I bought in total14 pieces of clothing, 9 pair of shoes, some accesoiries, anime stuff & some cutie just wanna have stuff. I couldn't even close my suitcase, if I didn't sit on it.

The major difference between Huangzhou, mainland China & Hong Kong is the traffic! I was scared to see the traffic in China. Everything seems to be possible on the road. In that way HK was more organized. Another difference is that Hong Kong is rather expensive compared to Huangzhou. Food in Huangzhou was much cheaper than in HK. And I feel the people in China to be more polite.

But the trip was way too short! I am planning to go next year again, also to see Shanghai & Beijing.

I will upload some piccas as soon as possible! Missed u all!

I am leaving tomorrow morning for my trip to China, Huangzhou & Hong Kong! I am so excited! I've been there when I was 5 years old, I don't remember anything back then! So this trip really has to be a wonderful experience! And before leaving I will was going to show you my past outfits....but there is an error on the weardrobe site. Sorry.....

Sorry, I am still very busy... my lil sis left today for China, and I have to work an extra day at my parents place. My personal life is kinda messy now..... ups & downs. So I just post some random things:

If you wonder what this is..... this is the bruise on one of my legs from playing karts...two weeks ago. Thank god it's gone now :)

I am not fond of green...but I just love this cute little dress. Hayden looks as stunning as always!

First of all: I am so sorry for not updating my blog~!!!!!!! I've been quite busy lately. And the great sunny weather is actracing me just chill with friends outside! Sorry Sorry Sorry!

Little update from what's going on now.

* As you know I had some serious big bruises because the karting...so I had to wear pants, capri pants, long skirts just to cover up the bruises.

* My vintage necklaces & brooch from my previous post has arrived! Unfortunitely the brooch was broken during the delivery :( >>> luckily the seller returned all my costs.

* Watched Transformers 2, Revenge of the Fallen.... just want to tell you all.... go watch it! Looking forward to see the horror "Drag me to Hell" (I luvvv horror), but nobody wants to go with me :(

About my outfits: I seriously have to have a wardrobe update! Just yourself....because I cannot find something to wear..... or even wear my favo hot pink shirt two times in two different weeks!

1. Colour: I'm currently in love with hot PINK!

2. Dessert: I'm not a dessert type of girl....but adore cheesecakes! I had my first in Antwerpen in a biological shop a few years ago, and I fell in love with it! Since then I couldn't find it in the Netherlands...untill a couple of months ago. I saw a piece in the Coffee Compagny...hmmmmm so delicious!

3. Smell: I love the smell of new things. (I'm a freak I know). I love the smell of fresh bread in the morning. And I love the smell of my favourite perfume: Ralph Lauren Blue.

4. Flower: the beautiful orchid :)

5. Animal: I am actually a cat person....awww. I used to have them when I was small. But now I wanna have a dog...but due to my work schedule.......I couldn't have one. So that's why I have to lovely grassparkeets Smurf & Butter.

6. Month: Hehehe my birthday month May!

7. Beverage: Huhuhuh apple juice =p , Jillz (sparkling cider from Heineken), rosé, cocktails (like pina colada or margerita's)

8. Shoes: Yeah I love them all! (see down here my latest buy).The ones I have, and the ones I wanna have :). My goal is to shop 50 pairs of shoes in China/Hong Kong. My lil sis' friends went home with 50 pairs of shoes from her trip from China. I really have to buy more =P! My goal is set!

9. Snacks:I rather prefer to skip the snacks....so I don't have any favourite ones

10. Songs: Currently love the song 'Sweet Goodbyes' from the Dutch band 'Krezip' and I love Christina Aguilera's songs & voice. Hurt & Beautiful are my faves.

11. Book: I am not a book reader. I remember loving 'The Da Vinci Code' and still have to start with 'Confessions of a shopaholic'

12. Fruit: Strawberriesssss!

13. Hairstyle: I am quite bored with my hairstyle....I always straight my hair (every day!) I wanna try some different hairstyles, but my face cannot handle them :(

14. Pieces of Clothing: My jeans jacket with hoodie from United Colours of Benetton. And still looking for more favo and exclusive pieces.

15. Stores to Shop: Mango, Sisley, Berschka, United Colours of Benetton, Zara, H&M, shoe-shops, like Dr. Adams, Invito, Sascha....just the ordinary shops.....my wallet has a limit :(

What An Exhausted Week! I am totally rip apart now! Yesterday we went karting, and I got some serious painful bruises! Pics will come soon....

I apologize for the less inspirational outfits this week. I just wasn't in the mood for some better outfits. And my closet was so 'empty'. I had nothing to wear...... so that's why you see several items worn before in the past 2 months. :(

I intend to save some money for my trip to China...to buy there some awesome stuff....but savings and Rain isn't really a great combination. But I am looking forward to my trip!

Monday is my fave one, maybe bc my pumps. I always feel very tall (I'm only 1.66) and very feminine.....but at the end of the day: My feet are killing me! hehehe

My Outfits in this short week 23

Hi all! I actually totally forgot how short this week was. I only have 3 outfits instead of 5 this week. Monday was Pentecost, so I had to work @ my parents place, and saterday I just wasn't in the mood making pics of my common jeans look, bc I was in a hurry to the post office. My ebay necklace was waiting for me! I'll show you in one of my future outfits!

So my favourite this week is my second outfit, thursdays! Take a look! And tell me what your favourite one is!

Tuesday 2-6-2009. Today was the delivery of our new sofa. The delivery was planned between 7.00-12.oo A.M. I thought they wouldn't come so early. But they already came @ 8.00! After that I had to rush to put my outfit together, bc I had to go to work. This is the result.

And our new sofa is gorgeous! Italian design is so pretty!

As you know... I'm going to China!~

Plaintickets are booked..I will leave @ 27th of July to Shanghai, Huangzhou and Hong Kong. I will be back 10th of August. So two weeks in a total different country...with a total different culture. My mandarin is not really good, and my cantonese is kinda okay.....luckily I can use my English :)

Since I have never been there I heard the weather is extremely hot (tropical hot)....so I definitely need to pack some comfy clothes.

I already did some research, spotting comfy outfits from celebrities:

My three favourite outfits from the MTV movie awards 2009:

Hayden Panettiere looks so gorgeous in this mini-dress from Ungaro, and Baily platform pumps.

I love Hayden in Heroes. I know she isn't tall, but I like her not too skinny and her healthy look.

Ashley Tisdale in a purple-licious, leather Elise Overland dress and sexy Paul and Joe Sister 'Gypsy' wedge boots. I praise Ashley's choice for choosing a leather dress (imagine how warm it is) and these amazing heels! Love her brown straight hair!

Kristen Stewart in Azrouel dress & Converse All-stars! Such a change from all the high heels! I praise her for daring to wear some relaxing sneakers. Twilight won 5 MTV movie awards! Congrats....but is it me.....bc I wasn't blown away by the movie?

I am happy to tell you girls & guys, that in the summer holiday I'm going to China for two weeks!!! I was there when I was 4 / 5 (really small, so I cannot even remember). The only memory I had been in China were the pictures we made. I'm so excited now!

Because today I heard a really sad incident. If you live in the Netherlands you've probably heard it in the news (or not). A little girl was killed by her stephfather. The stephfather cut her throat during an argument with the mother. Mostly this news probably will pass by you....but my collegue told me the mother was actually her childhood friend, and the killed girl was a friend of her own daughter! When I heard that I felt really sorry, and instantly got tears in my eyes..... Even now, blogging about it, my eyes got a little wet. R.I.P

Another incident is that some guys tried to hack into my parents home. They climb up to through the gutter to reach the open window of the bathroom. It was open, bc my lil brother (he's 16)was @ home. He heard the noise, went upstairs and scared them away....luckily.....let's hope they won't come back. I really cannot imagine strange people in your own house. The only place you feel save & secure.......Let's hope it stays that way...

This week I really got the skirt-virus. Mainly bc most of the days it was just sunny & beautiful weather!

My favourite outfit would be Thursdays & Fridays, just bc I felt really feminine those days.

Monday 25-5-2009. I knew today's gonna be a sunny weather....so I pulled out this new blouse from my closet. Somehow I wasn't really satisfied with this outfit. I like my new top, my new sandals, this jeansskirt is always good, but I think I did wrong putting these together in one outfit......mistakes happens.

Tuesday 26-5-2009: OMG I couldn't sleep at all, bc the stormy weather, hard rain & thunder. I have been awake for 4 times. Next day I was sooo tiredm bc the lack of sleep. Watching outside in the morning it looks so cold. That's why I really had to wear long sleeves & boots again!

Thursday 28-5-2009. I was so sure that I wanna wear this skirt & tights. So my choice in the morning was made quickly. Though had some problems finding the right shoes.... I got compliments for my outfit :)

Friday 29-5-2009: The weather is continuing to be great! So why not wear a skirt again? (and again & again) The skirt was a miss-buy wrong my lil sis....it had added suspenders. The suspenders were kinda short, so I took them off. One of them I tight around my waist, and wore it like a belt...hold together with a corsage. I'm kinda happy with the result.

Saterday 30-5-2009: Today we went to go to play paintball! So I had to get up early in the morning.... and I was kinda late, so I had to put my outfit in a couple of minutes, lol. This is the results, with my favourite pink hoodie. Somehow when I pull the hoodie out my closet, I always combine it with the dotted top.....

Paintball was so much fun, but I did have some bruises. Ouch.....Even got hit @ my mask....and the butter (instead of paint), came in my mouth....iewww. And we went to see Terminator Salvation! My God... I love that movie! I will never get bored of hottie Christian Bale! :) Go see!

But my favourite would be the stylish Leighton with her black classic blazer. Second favo is Jessica, I think her blue dress is way too cute. I do think she's got a little too much make-up on her face. I like Taylor rock-chick outfit, with animal (!) print, red lips & black toe-polish. Blake's outfit is cute for the summer, but compared to the others kinda plain.....

Another Addiction is starting......ebay

Yeah......addicted to blogging, etsy & my BB (blackberry :P)..... my next addiction is ebay. I've got my ebay account 4 years ago. Never ever bought something... and my boyfriend misused my account. Results are 2 negative feedbacks. ( I hate him for doing that) I was kinda sceptical, I guess, buying 'used' stuff from other people......but that was then.... (young & stupid :p) . I realized ....If you can find the true unique items....ebay is so fantastic!~

I just bought my first ebay item: Vintage, Lotus Pearl Necklace with a marcaete clasp.

Hope it will arrive soon, and that it is a precious.....

Blackberry + Zoo

I've got a new phone! (since Tuesday) I used to have a Samsung phone (for 2 or 3 times, keep trying). I love Samsung's designs, and the functions are easy to use....but the phone never last for 1 year! I always have to use an old phone, bc after one year the phone just won't work anymore! (believe me I'm careful with it, probably just fell 2 or 3 times) This time I choose to have the elegant, must-have smartphone: The Blackberry 8900 Curve.... I've Facebook, hotmail and MSN mobile on my BB and it's so addictive!!!

And @ wednesday my boyfriend, lil brother, lil sis & I went to the zoo. I totally forgot how much fun & how inspiring it is! I was so into my BB, that I forgot to put my camera in my bag! :( .......luckily I could use the camera @ my phone, and surprisely the quality was better than I expected! ...and my lil sis got her camera with her.

Summary of my lil Birthday!

Hi! Short summary of the celebration of my little birthday. Monday we did a lil pre-celebrating just with my mom, lil sis & lil bro, bc Monday my mom & lil sis don't have to work. We went to do some shopping (again, lol) & went to eat sushi!

~ at the Damsquare, my mom, me & lil sis Moon~

~ Birthday gift from my mom, Louis Vuitton bracelet. I have to be sooooo careful with this. My mom also gave me a short jacket, top, scarf and another bracelet.~

~ Fornarina sneakers, gift from my lil sis~

~These are gifts from my boyfriend :), I was so surprised, he even packed some by himself. I unpacked one by one, and he gave me a pink skirt .... right size, but the fitting was smaller than the size, and the length of the skirt was so wrong. Second gift was a pair of sandals. Too bad the sandals were more suitable for his mom. It was so not my style. I really laughed out loud! Another gift was a watch, but almost the same he bought me last year! LOL. The day after we returned all the gifts :(.... we could both laugh about it.~

~ On my birthday we went to watch the 2 hour long movie 'Angels & Demons: The Bernini Mystery'. Great movie!~ I didn't read the book, so I was amazed by the movie. A lot better than the draggy 'The Da Vinci Code'. In the evening we had dinner @ Humphreys....see above my dessert...cheesecake!!!!!~

Hi all! Another week has passed already! It's time for my regular outfits post :) (thanks for asking Mads)

The weather changed from sunny to rainy, windy and I even heard some lightning! And the weather is one of the major influence of my outfits (how predictable :P).

Ooopss, bc I told you & myself not to buy any clothes, accesoiries etc....guess what I couldn't. Yesterday, I was somehow depressed I thought I go for a walk in the center of Amsterdam. Just by myself, enjoying the fact to be alone. I planned to buy a belated birthday gift in a bookstore. It's great time wandering around a bookstore. Getting some great inspiration in the books. To bad.....the bookstore is near the shopping street....I went to H&M instead, bc I know that wouldn't be a major damage to my wallet :).

Today's the last chance to enter a picture for the Best Blazer Look @ weardrobe . I thought about entering other weardrobe contests before.... but I think other weardrobe members got more interesting outfits and pics than mine......But now I'll give it a try! I't's actually so much fun! I put this simple outfit together :). The hot pink blazer was actually my mom's. It has shoulderpads (very 80s), so that's why I probably haven't wear it outside, bc I look really extra 'broad'. Which I already am by myself. Peak into my closet

I love....... peaking in other closets! So I wanna show you my closet first. We've got four rooms in our appartment: the living room/open kitchen, the bedroom, the study room and one I call my dressing room. You've probably seen hundred times, bc mostly it's the background of my outfit pictures. It's not fully decorated, yet....I still miss some curtains, and some shelves. There's a 3 metres IKEA pax-closet in there, and this is my halve. I am slowly taking over my boyfriend's side, lol.

Outfits Week 19......

I cannot believe it's already my fourth week posting my outfits. So already have 4 x 6 = 24 different outfits! I didn't know that my closet had so much choice for that. Of course one returning item is always my jeans....my bottems exist of 85%-90% jeans /jeansskirts. I try to wear some other bottoms, but not really succesfull now. Hopefully the sun will shine more, so I would have a chance to wear some lovely summer skirts or dresses.

The first couple days of this week, I wasn't feeling very well. At work we had a deadline...so I was quite busy....and had a lack of inspiration. Thank God, i feel better know. We have to cherish our health.

My first Etsy buy: Music Box

I saw this vintage music box on Etsy. It has the melody one of my favourite song: Love Me Tender from Elvis. I loved this song since I watched on old Hong Kong series, where this song was featured. I totally forgot what the series was about, but this song was memorized forever.
So the decision of buying this music box was made quickly. Now, hoping that I will received it in the same status as above, since it is from across the ocean (from the U.S.) Fingers crossed.

PS: @ thursday I received my package of the blazer with studded stars from the lottery of Fashionolgy. I love it, but I was so disappointed that the size was too small for me :(

(it was a size 4, 34 & I wear usually size 38).......

I should avoid places where are shops! I just couln't resist not to buy stuff. I have 2 catagories: 1. decor stuff for my home & 2. decor stuff for dressing up my body. The walls are still empty & need some stuff to make the house, our home. Ok...needed. The second catagorie is the tricky one, do I really need to buy clothes/shoes/accesoiries? Last two weeks I have bought something new every week :S. I really have to promise myselft that this is the last........

~ Maison de Bonneterie had a sale for everything they've got (old & new collection), bc they will soon have the shop redecorated. So I first saw amazing Burburry wedges (reduced from > €200,00 to €118,00 and reduced again for €67,00), but I told myself and I know I wouldn't wear them, so I didn't buy them. I also saw this amazing gorgeous canvas bag from Leontine Hagoort (sorry, never heard of her). This one was reduced from €220,00 to € 110,00 and the final price €55,00! I also didn't need the bag, bc I have a lot of bags. But I let myself choose one thing, and this bag is perfect for my future summer outfit! So the bag it is!

After that I bought a cardigan & cute flowered flats....so those were my last buys for now.......fingers crossed :)

~ This Bubble Chair was on the tv-show Top-stylist. We love it, and were very exciting seeing this in the store. We both wanted in our home. We didn't have the space, but still we would make space for it. Unfortunately our dream was shattered, when we saw the price € 3.500,00! :(

Indeed SEXY!

I saw these amazing pumps from the South-Korean brand CT-Girl ($ 60) at www.yesstyle.com. I love the colour combination of yellow/blue and the added leopard print band to spice it up.

Unfortunately when I clicked this article these words came up: 'This item is no longer available'

:( . You're gettin all excited about something, and then suddenly you get disappointed......so hateful! Just remove the item, when it's not available!

ps. Today I saw in the shoe shop dr. Adams (was not my intention, but I just past by, so why not to have a look) another amazing pumps with laces, with almost the same shoe nose (different colour). It's still in my mind, so I think I'm gonna get them.... I told myself not to, bc I am still looking for some pairs of sandals (yes, more than one :P) for the summer. We (my lil sis & moi) sometimes will get her used, but still in perfect condition, designer bags! I saw vague red-ish spot far far far away while walking towards the shop...and what a surpise the shop is called ROOD (which means RED) and everything they sell is in the colour RED~!!! Thursday 23rd of April is the day, that the collection of the British designer Matthew Williamson for H&M will be available at the H&M stores (and online)!!! You can visit the H&M site for a preview of the collection, prices are told. I went some google-ing for the collection.

Not exactly where my balcony is, (I am looking at it, right now) but furniture for my balcony. I am having my first spring/summer in this new appartment. A lot of things still has to be decorated, my balcony is one of them. It's now empty. I am thinking at a comfy chair and a table...and lots of flowers. Shopping Day

Yesterday I went shopping with my lil sis Moon & lil bro Michael. I was late bc I try to shoot a picture for today (wrong excuse I know). I arrived.....and Moon was wearing the same hoodie! We both bought it a couple years ago....and it such comfy sweater, so it wasn't a surprise at all :D

But I couldn't stop myself for not buying stuff. I saw some accessories from six in the sale, so Moon and I bought some. They were cheap. And I bought my #46 pair of shoes. I saw these cute white flats. And early in the morning I was searching for summer shoes, and I didn't have suitable comfy flats. So when I saw these I didn't hesitate at all. They were only € 39,95!

Next stop was across the street, the new shop Vila. It was very busy (duhhh...saterdays), so without trying first I bought a blouse & a belt. Then we went to Bijenkorf. Moon has some credits (€ 100,- someting), so she have to use it all. We tried some shoes. And I saw these designer shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo....so classy and beautiful..look at those heals, but the price was € 325,00...that's why too expensive for me.

Moon also tried an baby doll, cute, adorable trenchcoat from Benetton, but she wasn't really fond of it (such a waste, I thought it's cutie)

I got the waxine holders (in the early post), book Confessions of a Shopaholic ( I love the movie), and a wallet for my keys :D.

And I blame my action to the weather!!! Damn summer :P

I saw these romantic earrings a couple weeks ago, but I told myself green is not really my colour...and I promised myself not to buy new stuff (even they are not expensive, rather cheap). The last weeks these earrings pop up a couple of times in my head, lol. And you know if you keep thinking about something, you just want to have it! My Shoe Collection

In the last 2 years I got slowly addicted to shoes.....(When i changed my job, bc now I mostly sit behind a desk...I used to stand 3/4 times 8 hours a week). Last week I actually had time to count my shoes & organize it in an excel sheet. Yeah, I am a freak and have to organize everything! I counted all my shoes, inclusive: summer shoes, boots, pums with high & low heels, ankle boots, sneakers etc. So.....how many shoes did I count? In total 46 pairs!

Here some of my lovely collection:

My white, ankle boots I purchased last winter during sales....they are so comfy!

These pumps I got from my lil sis Moon.. they are really glamorous.

I am so glad I received my Shuella's. I want to share it with you all.

Some facts:

- My first buy from the Internet.

- Very handy for the rainy dutch weather

- They are pink, so you could not NOT see them when I am wearing them in the rain.

- They were include the 'shipping costs' € 45,98. (€ 31,89 + tax: € 6,75 + shipping cost € 7,34)

- I ordered at the dutch site of kado-uniek. The only webshop (and regular shop) to buy here in Holland.

- The service was extremely well. They allowed me to pay when received the package, bc this is my first internet buy,....so I am extremely careful.

- I ordered it Thursday and received it at friday!!! One day!!!

Edwin Siu in Holland

I haven't been on my blog for such a long time! The reason is that my computer has been broken, and still is broken for a couple of months. I moved to a new house....and it took a while for internet, here.

Actually this post is about Edwin Siu, who visited The Netherlands. My lil sis and I went to Holland Casino in Utrecht to see him. For my lil sis it was actually the second time, bc she also went before when Edwin was in the Holland Casino in Amsterdam. She's all over him....lol.

Edwin Siu is in real-life really cute. Although he already pass the 30. He still looks really young. He's really nice to his fans, and got no attitudes. He takes the time to talk to you, and write your name down at his photo with a signature.

My first thoughts about this series were:

* Kenneth and Kate is a good pairing. Their chemistry was good in La Femme desperado & The Brink Of Law.
* Kate is improving more and more...I haven't seen her in a series since she won her prices: TVB Best Newcomer & the movie price for best newcomer. So I was curious how good she was now.
* Kenneth came from small supporting roles to the leading man. He sure worked really hard for it....and I was finally recognizing him. His supporting roles didn't leave a big impact me. I just loved him in Survivor Law 2.
* Kate's image, as first seen on the poster, is so pretty! Her long, straight hair is what I also want!

After watching it:

Yup, I wasn't disappointed. I loved it. It's what I expected a light-hearted story.
I truely love Kate's character, so pure and sweet. She cares about everyone. Despite she couldn't hear (clearly), she is still standing in a positive way in live. We all could take her character as an example in our personal life.

Favorite scenes:
* I love the scene in the woods, where Kate told her feelings toward Kenneth, only bc she thought he couldn't hear it (bc of the headphone on his head). Kenneth feels the same! The kiss was so sweet.
* I love the telephone hanger, which will light up if you had 'yuen fan' which each other. I have to have that thing!
* Memorable scenes is where Kenneth were trying out, whether Kate likes him or not...like Kate didn't mind drinking the same bottle Kenneth did. Kates found out they were checking on her. Eventually in the restaurant she just pretend to be buddies with Kenneth...awwwwww
* The scene in the hospital where Kate pretends that she could hear again. Playing the scene with Elaine in front of Kenneth and Claire. I was in tears....

Worth mentioning:

* Claire Yiu's character. First I thought her character would be an evil, spoiled, want-to-marry-a-rich man character. I was surprised she wasn't. Even in the end when she lied about her disease, and tries to have Kenneth go to America....I couldn't be mad about her. Her heart is in the good place.

* Mister Mok, the cute kid in Minutes to Fame, played Claire's son. He has grown a lot....lol

* Lai Lok Yi...his character 'Ha chi Min' is so different. I was so not used to it. But he did great and still love seeing him! Hehehehe so funny.

In the End the finally found each other

I recommend this series to everyone! I am looking forward to Kate and Kenneth's new series!

My Comments

I like movies related to music. I like romantic comedies. I like Drew Barrymore. I dislike Hugh Grant (since the cheating on Liz-thing, ages ago, but still affects me)....but I thougt I give it try.....and the verdict of the movie is : it's nice, but the songs are great!!! Especially the song 'Way Back Into Love' performed by Hugh Grant & Haley Bennett. Who ever thought Hugh Grant could actually sing? The clip of the 80's hitsong 'Pop, goes my heart' hilarious. And which girl doesn't melt if a song is written for her? It was so touching hearing Hugh Grant behind the piano singing 'Dont Write Me Off'.

It may not be a perfect movie, but it's entertaining. I recommended it to everyone who likes music related movies! rated: ***

Grace Wong & Yue Hao Ming in Strictly Come Dancing 2

Yes...they have won! The 'siu ming shing' tsue hap! I am very glad with the results, because I do think they are both good dancers. Especially Grace. They are the audience's favorite, mainly because I think that Hao Ming has a big fanbase, because his singing career. Congrats!

~I never heard of Yue Hao Ming (Hamburger Yue), when the show started. I was never focused in mainland singers. I heard some of Hao Ming's songs, and they were OK. Most of them are love songs...maybe he can do some up tempo dance songs, lol.

They are my favourite dance couple....and I hope Hunan TV and TVB will do soon start a new season of Strictly Come Dancing!......three times.... :P

There hasn't aired an episode for a few weeks. And today I saw the following news *spoilers* :

Grace Wong Is 'Queen Of The Dance'17 June 2008Emma LamThe second series of Strictly Come Dancing <舞動奇跡> has drawn to a close and Hong Kong representative Grace Wong (王君馨) and her mainland dance partner Yu Hao Ming (俞灝明) have emerged as the overall winners of the TVB and Hunan TV joint production dance competition.

A celebratory event was held today and Grace showed off her trophy to her Miss Hong Kong and TVB colleagues. Timmy Hung (洪天明) and his mainland partner Chen Lu (陳露) came second and Nancy Wu (胡定欣)'s hard work paid off coming in with a respectable third place with her partner, Nathan Lee (李承鉉) from Korean boyband TAKE.

TVB executives Virginia Lok (樂易玲) and Ho Lai Chuen (何麗全) joined the show's producer Stella Ho (何小慧), judging panel guests Shek Sau (石修) and Lau Dan (石修) and the other contestants to congratulate the winners and also to mark the show's success once again.

Grace was very proud to be named as the "Queen of the Dance" and said that after this experience, she has learned never to give up in any situation. She revealed that the hard work during rehearsals has helped her to slim down and she has lost almost 7 lbs in the process. She also expressed her thanks to good friend Kayi Cheung (張嘉兒) for her unwaivering support.

Despite being favourite to win the competition, Nancy was not disappointed with third place and said that she was happy for Grace and was pleased with her own performance. She said that she was quite emotional just before her last dance with Nathan and they have promised to keep in touch with each other. Asked if there is a chance of romance, Nancy said that there is not because he is three years younger than her and far too hyperactive for her.

I haven't updated for a while yet, but I have I am up to date watching 'Strictly Come Dancing'

A little of my comments about the episodes:

*Episode 1, 17-04-2008:

We are introduced to the Hunan and TVB men! I actually were watching this fast forward, because I was actually interested how the TVB men would dance...hehehe

Hearing from earlier reports, it was said that Kevin's dancing were bad....but I think for the first time actually dancing. He did great!

Eventually Derek scored the lowest points....I totally agree. His performance was weak, and doesn't seems like dancing. Clothing was ridiculous. He was dressed as a Roman fighter, it seems to me that back in those days, they didn't have any sense of rythym.

Most impressed by the Thai: Tong Fong. Not speaking mandarin, but when he try..even it's one sentence, he's so cute!

*Episode 2 18-04-2008:

The girls episode! Myolie starts the show for TVB side. It's also Myolie's first time dancing. She propably was a bit nervous...but great first time performance and great facial expression.

All the TVB girls did great for the first episode, a lot a tears were shed...bc of the hard practice and stress for doing the routine.

And Nancy Wu got for her first dance 4 x 10 points from the judges! I have to agree she did wonderful! In the next episode, we will see in the short film, that she cried bc it was her first time being placed first in a (dancing) competition. I was very glad for her, finally getting that recognition, bc she always got stuck in supporting roles in series.

But new cutie Yu Hao Ming has rised, following the footsteps of my favo from the first season's Jason Zhang Jie. Dancing a tough and rough hip hop dance routine. He said in the interview that he and Jason Zhang Jie are very good friends, and he was jealous at him during the first season, bc he was so though. He finally got the chance to do the same.

Nancy continues to impress me with her dancing. She's is so gracious in her dancing. Her balance, her movements, everything seems to be perfect.

The oldest (?) girl from the Hunan side, Chen Lu, also impressed me with her powerful dance. I believe she has some backgrounds in the sports.

And Grace dancing Hiphop, from what I have seen before in the pre-selection show of Miss HK 2007. And she didn't disappointed me, she did great!

The New Season of Strictly Come Dancing

After the success of the first series last year, TVB will be joining forces with Hunan TV once again to produce a second series of the celebrity dance competition Strictly Come Dancing '舞動奇跡'.

The TVB stars participating in this show are:

* Myolie 胡杏兒...The fadan, like Sonjia in the first season. I think Myolie will be very graceful in her dancing, just like Sonjia. I think because she's one TVB's fadans, she will have a a lot of pressure, to do extra her best.

* Kevin Cheng 鄭嘉穎... I have never seen Kevin dance before, but he's very handsome. If his moves are good...who knows he's this seasons Jason Zhang. I hope that Kevin not resembles Joe Ma's performance last year, bc he really s*cks.

* Angela Tong 湯盈盈...She's has such a fun open personality. I think she will add some humor to the show.

* Timmy Hung 洪天明...Reminds me of Carlo Ng in the first season. Funny, but hardworking...he will win a lot of fans with his humor, lol.

* Kenneth Ma 馬國明...I cannot believe Kenneth is also in the show. The last time I saw him dancing was during the TVB anniversairy show...He was so nervous...you really saw on his face that he was nervous to forgot the dance steps. Hope this time he's doing better.

* Nancy Wu 胡定欣...I also have never seen Nancy dance before.

* Grace Wong 王君馨... I have seen Grace dancing Hip Hop in the pre-Miss Hong Kong kwalification show. She did great. I think she's got great potential, maybe for even winning the show.

* Derek Kok 郭政鴻...Ehmm...dunno...he could be this years big surprise?

Myolie is participating in the new dance show 'Strictly come Dancing''!

I totally loved the first season. Because this show I love to see Jason Zhang....his dance moves wear great! Besides the TVB artistes, the Hunan celebrities it's refereshing to see other artistes than TVB ones. They probably even dance better than the TVB artistes, except for Michael Tse. Eventually he became the male winner! Michael was paired with the female winner Sugar Tang Xiao, great pairing! Both were excellent in their dancing. And this show definitely improved my mandarin, lol. I hope the next season is even better than the first one!

Miss Hong Kong: Stylish enough?

Beeing a newbie in the showbusiness, sure it's hard to be 'stylish'. You will be learning a lot about fashion. When I saw the first pic of the Miss Hong Kong taken on 19th february 2008. I thought the coat-dress Kayi Cheung is wearing really stands out. Dark blue and red really is a great match! It captured me. ( which I cannot say about the over-sized granny shirt with black shoes Lily Ho is wearing, what was she thinking? Black shoes are not suitable for every outfit...horrible :/)

About a month later (24th March 2008) Kayi is wearing the same dress to another Miss Hong Kong function. This time with a white belt. I still love the coat-dress...but she hadn't something else to wear? I thought wearing 2 times clothes is a real fashion disaster in showbusiness. Loretta Chow and Grace Wong's clothing looks so regular. As beeing representatives for Hong Kong don't they at least have stylists or sponsors?.....you tell me.....

War of In-Laws 2 - 野蠻奶奶大戰戈師奶

I really love and enjoyed War of In-Laws! *spoilers*

Why I love it:

* Myolie and Bosco were great in the original War of In-Laws and the even have more chemistry in the sequel! They are a cute and a refreshing couple! The chemistry only could be so good, because they are good friends or propably are dating in real life.
* As you know I love fashion. So as soon as I know WOIL 2 resembles 'The Devils Wears Prada' I couldn't hardly wait for it! And it didn't disappoint me. They thought about every detail from hair to make-up, from clothing to accesoirizes. Every scene is a candy for the eye!
* Myolie's acting. I like the light-hearted, comedic performances of Myolie. It suits her the most. She is more convincing in these kind of roles. I hope she will be do more comedic series than heavy drama's. She could be following the footsteps of Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston or Reese Witherspoon, but instead of America's Sweetheart: Hong Kong's Sweetheart.
* Liza sure is liked by many people of the older generation. To be honest I didn't like her strong, independent woman presence in real life, but the part of Ophelia is just written for her.
* Benz and Liza are so much fun together. I really enjoyed their scenes together. Benz really should have won Best Supporting Actor. I hope this role will finally lead him to it.

What could be better:

* I love the appearance of Vincent Wong. I think he is really handsome and charming. I enjoyed the first scene, where he challenged Myolie who could be first on the 7th floor. Myolie taking the stairs and pushing the elevator button at every floor. So she win. I hoped to see more Myolie and Vincent scenes. I personally liked if Bosco were getting more competition of Vincent in the series. Maybe Bosco would have cherished Myolie more, than being seduced by Vivien. Hateful they developed Vincent into a spoiled rich guy towards to end.

What I hate:

* Surely the kiss between Bosco and Vivien! The kiss seems more passionate than the kisses Bosco and Myolie share. I hate the scene, when Liza and Bosco pretend they were drinking the whole evening, so Myolie wouldn't know what Bosco did. Vivien shows up, pretending to bring back the phone, but actually were saying that Bosco and she were kissing and stuff. I feel so sorry for Myolie.

Memorable scenes:
Except what I mentioned before.

* The scene where Myolie was finding out who said Derek is gay. She was 'chatting' with Patrick and told him to believe her. He had to walk out the room and the females would look to him. He did it, the females did look at him, than he turned around and a piece of paper was sticking at his back. I laughed loud.
* The scene were Liza woke up Myolie a couple of hours before for her first day at work to teach how to dress up for her work. And Bosco woke up, seeing his hot wife. And Myolie was already tired. lol.
* The scene where Bosco and Myolie were afraid of the dog.
* The scene where Myolie was saving Liza from that crazy fan.

Best performance by female:

This is really hard! But I will choose Myolie! Because it's really a long time ago, when I enjoy Myolie's performance. I think she is sometimes quite irritating in her acting in dramas. Runners-up Joyce and Liza. I love Joyce's different character she is playing normally.

Best performance by a male:

Benz Hui...definitely. This man can act all types of characters.

Most Improved male:

None....I don't think Bosco is improved. Other male parts were too small too judge.

Most Improved female:

Vivien. How hateful her character is, She is improved. Her cantonese is way better.

Selena Li In Sisley Dress

I have once worked for the Italian brand 'Sisley'. Most people know it as the little sister brand of 'United Colors of Benetton'. So for a couple of seasons I could dream the collection. I found this pic of Selena wearing a Sisley dress. I believe it was from the spring/summer of 2006 or 2007.

After working for many years for this brand I feel really related to it. So I am extremely happy to see Selena wearing this dress. It looks so adorable on her. I really regret not buying that dress. Otherwise I could say I have the same dress as Selena's, hahahahha

The Hong Kong Film Directors Guild held its 2008 Spring Banquet on March 7th.....and

Kate won the gold award for 2007 Best Newcomer (2007年度新演員獎) for her role in Eye in the Sky <跟蹤>....Yeah.... While Linda received the newcomer silver award for her role in Love is Not All Around <十分．愛> !!!!

It seems Kate starfame is rising fast! I have to admit she looks gorgeous at the banquet:

Kate looks really pretty in this yellow, one-shoulder off dress. I remember it was a couple of years ago 'in the fashion' Probably we will see the one-shoulder off tops/dresses in the upcoming collections in the fashion stores. Yellow is really difficult colour to wear, because you will easily look pale, but Kate definitely got the right 'teint'. Black big belt, black peep toes,....totally the look to a cocktailparty. I wish I could wear this like Kate!

Kate and Linda seems to have the same hairstylist that day? The front is so look-alike.

Linda also looks great in the dress. She totally showed her slim body, but unfortunely it reminds me to a too short weddingdress. It also reminds me the dress she wore at the TVB anniversairy when she won her award. I guess Linda love to wear white. It does give you a clean, innocent look.

Hope to see them in more Movies and stylish Dresses!!!!!!

Yes...最美麗的第七天 aka 'The Seventh Day' will be broadcast in Hong Kong at the 18 th February! After watching Niki and Kevin in 'Under The Canopy of Love'. I fell in love with their great chemistry!

* I think the song from Kevin is too slow. When it was released at the 'In Love With Dramas' cd. I was hoping for a duet between Niki and Kevin....too bad....but I heard they have a subsong together!

* I am also a fan of Selena Li. I am glad, that she's got a lot screentime in the MV. Hope she also get a lot of screentime in the series.

* The images of the snowy landscape are beautiful! I always consider snow as cold, and not comfortable.....but these images makes it so romantic!

* Hope Natalie Tong will pull off in this series. She looks mature in those glasses...which is a good point. Because she always seems to be the little sister in series. Hope this role will change her future.

* Seems the series is quite dramatic... I hope the series also will focus on the light-hearted side.

You will get impressed by some actors or actress after they played a particular character in a series. The 'click' where an actor/actress change in avarage/so so, into a favorite, more enjoyable every next time you see him/her on screen.

In 2006:
* It was Shirley Yeung in 'Always Ready'. Too bad she had little screen time. She really captured me with this character. I am glad she won 'Best Supporting Actress' for this series.
* It was Selena Li in 'Face to Fate'. She gave me a deep impression with her strong womancharacter. Making her my most improved actress in that year.
* It was Sharon Chan in 'Devil's Desciple'. After seeing her in some series. I finally noticed her! She did a great job. Too bad the series failed in ratings.
* It was Raymond Lam'in 'La Femme Desperado'. I always thought he is a great actor, but he was so adorable and cute as 'siu chai'. He totally stole my heart.

Last year, 2007:

* Gigi Lai 'In the Ultimate Crime Fighter'

Yes, I have seen Gigi act in the series in the 90's, I have seen her in movies, and I have seen her series in 'fadan' position in the recent years. And she was as always being beautiful in the series. She is indeed a very beautiful woman....but it was when she played as 'Ting ting', when I finally looking at a wonderful actress. I didn't see that Gigi Lai was portraying 'Ting ting', but I saw 'Ting ting' herself. Thumbs up!

* Linda Chung in 'Heart of Greed'

When I saw her in 'Always Ready' and 'Forensic Heroes'. I thought she lack some facial impressions and voice control...but I guess she's OK. I did see improvement. Her breakthrough is her pherformance as 'Seung Joi Sum'. I love her parts with Moses and Raymond in this series.

* Kevin Cheng in 'The Ultimate Crime Fighter'

I did really like Kevin in 'Under the Canopy of Love'. I guess every girl would like his character. In TUCF Kevin was also playing a real gentleman, very similiar as in UTCOL. I like his kindness towards 'Ting ting'. He really convinced me with this villian role.

Yeah...I am a huge "Lost" fan. I am dying to see the new season. Season 4 will be broadcast in the USA tomorrow 31th January!!! Soon....
The actors and actresses in "Lost" are also getting new boost in their popularity. So why don't you have parttime commercial jobs to increase your earnings....

Josh Holloway aka Sawyer in the series...takes a dive for Davidoff Cool Water....ehm enjoy.....

Actually I saw a much shorter version of this commercial at the Dutch television, but who complains....

Matthew Fox aka Jack in the series for L'óreal. He's totally worth it.....
